Henley Beach Coast Park – Grange

Client: City of Charles Sturt

Project: Henley Beach Coast Park – Grange

The Henley Beach Coastal Park Walkway upgrade is a state and federally funded initiative to beautify and increase safety along the Adelaide Coastal Park. BluBuilt was engaged as Head Contractor to construct a new 3 metre shared path within the existing dune frontage of Henley Beach, incorporating the continuation of the Coastal Park shared use path, which stretched along the Adelaide Coastline from Aldinga Beach to North Haven. Our company was chosen in part based on our extensive experience in delivering similar projects of this nature, which require preservation and enhancement of the existing environment.

  • Extensive bulk earthworks and batter stabilization
  • Construction of a new 3 metre wide coloured concrete shared use path incorporating feature block paving
  • Retaining wall construction
  • Public lighting
  • Soft landscaping
  • Road alterations

Due to the close proximity of works to residents and coastal dunes, Blubuilt engaged in community relations and communicated regularly with residents and the Coastal Protection Board to ensure minimal impact on the local community, sensitive dunes and beach goers.
