BluBuilt has again been successful in securing another ambulance project in South Australia. BluBuilts success in Ambulance Projects comes off the back of successfully completing the Strathalbyn Ambulance Station.
The first sod was turned this morning by the Minister for Health & Wellbeing Chris Picton MP and CEO of SA Ambulance Robert Elliott, for the new Edwardstown Ambulance Station. This new state-of-the-art facility located on Daws Road on the old Repat site forms part of an initiative by the Labour Government to improve ambulance services in South Australia.
Preliminary works on the Edwardstown Ambulance Station will commence in the coming weeks. Marking the start of yet another significant partnership between BluBuilt Constructions, SA Ambulance Service, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) and SA Health, in collaboration with Greenway Architects SA, BCA Engineers & WGA (Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec)
The establishment of the Edwardstown Station will significantly boost ambulance services in the Southern & Western suburbs, ensuring that paramedics possess the necessary resources and amenities for efficient emergency responses. The commencement of the new Edwardstown Ambulance Station marks a substantial leap toward enhancing emergency services in South Australia.
The Design & Construction of the ‘fit for purpose’ ambulance station includes;
Accommodation for up to six (6) people, garaging for six (6) emergency vehicles, fully functional kitchen and dining, meeting, training and crew rooms, amenities, offices, workstations, locker, and drug storage.
