Owen Richards

Owen has nearly two decades’ local and national experience in the management of civil infrastructure projects, construction management, including major bridge construction, earthworks, pipework, industrial and civil concrete structures projects.

His specialist expertise has enabled Blubuilt to develop intelligent and innovative work systems that are unique in the industry.

When not providing our clients with industry-leading standards in the areas of safety, cost, programming and risk mitigation, Owen likes spending time with his wife and two young children, enjoying new world wines and indulging in river sports.

Our People are our company

At Blubuilt, we employ the industry’s leading Project Managers, professional engineers, tradespeople, operators, and labourers. Words like loyalty, honesty and transparency mean a lot to us. They mean just as much to our clients and suppliers, too. And that’s why they’re still with us. That and the fact we build great projects.

BluBuilt Community Care Program

At BluBuilt, we know that major earthworks or heavy construction can have a significant community impact. This is why during the work phase, we treat all members of the community – from residents and commuters to retailers – like our clients too. Below are examples of how we inform and stay in touch with Communities during works:

  • Information evenings / Community Open Day
  • Regular communication via email
  • Public forums
  • Advance notice of street closures or traffic restrictions
  • Local and community Newspaper presence

BluBuilt Community Involvement
