Challenges

  1. The building was located on uncontrolled fill and whilst this was indentified during the design phase, we still encounted issues achieving designed torque levels for the screw piles.
  2. The existing building stone wall was significantly out of level. To enable the 2 buildings to come together, the project team had to continually modify individual members during the structural steel install.
