Beverley Waste Transfer Station

Design, construction and certification of the new 1395m², 8m high waste transfer shed at Beverley, including access, egress, and signage. The existing site posed several challenges, as it was located on a landfill. As such, an foundation design was critical to delivering the project on time and within budget.

The new station comprised:

  • Extensive underground stormwater infrastructure including detention basin, pits and pipework
  • Ancillary roadworks package including electrical, security and water feeds to the site
  • Bulk earthworks and platform construction
  • Structural steelwork, roofing and cladding
  • Piling works
  • Structural concrete works
  • Stand alone canopy works
  • Precast concrete push-up walls to the perimeter of the new waste transfer station
  • Upgrade to existing washdown bay treatment facilities
  • Internal roadways and pavements.
