Salisbury Indoor Cricket Facility

The Indoor Cricket Training Facility Project was co-funded between City of Salisbury and the State Governmen. The facility has been designed to comply with the South Australia Cricket Association (SACA) and Cricket Australia guidelines.

We undertook the design, construction, and commissioning of a 680m² training facility, comprising four indoor training nets, storage facilities with appropriate lighting and evaporative cooling for year-round occupation.

The works included:

  • Detailed geotechnical investigation of site and design reinforced concrete slab and footings
  • Site clearing and tree/vegetation removal in strict accordance with the approved Arborist report
  • Design and construction of steel framed, lightweight clad building structure
  • Detailed cut/fill earthworks to the site to achieve new design floor levels
  • Supply and installation of new SACA approved synthetic turf, netting and lighting.

We delivered the project in a short program, and when unsuitable subgrade was discovered that required remediation, there was a risk of program delays. We managed the works to mitigate any delays and delivered the project on time.
