BluBuilt has been engaged to deliver the construction of new gymsports facilities and tennis clubrooms at the Banksia Park Sports Area in Tea Tree Gully. This regional sports precinct is home to the Council area’s largest tennis facility, and also includes facilities for cricket, football, netball, gymnastics, and athletics. The project is being delivered in two parts; the Tennis Clubroom Redevelopment, and the Gymsports Building Redevelopment.
The Tennis Clubroom Redevelopment involves demolition of the existing clubroom building and construction of a new clubroom, associated car parking, landscaping, and spectator area, which will be used for the netball and tennis clubs.
The Gymsports Building has been operational at the site for more than 50 years and offers KinderGym, PreGym, artistic gymnastics, trampoline gymsports, and tumbling gymsports. The scope of these works includes construction of a new purpose built facility adjacent the existing facility, which will be demolished at the completion of construction.
