Owen Richards

Owen has more than three decades’ experience in civil infrastructure projects, construction, including major bridge construction, earthworks, pipework, industrial and civil concrete structures projects.

Michael Hitch

Since achieving his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Michael has worked for more than 25 years in civil, structural/building construction management, project management, estimating and cost planning.

Stuart Spillane

Stuart has more than 25 years’ diverse project experience across multi-disciplined major infrastructure works. He manages the company’s HSEQ requirements and ensures projects are delivered safely.

Kelly Clifford

With more than 25 years’ experience in finance and accounts, Kelly has a strong background in the civil engineering and construction industry. She has a focus on accuracy, detail and accountability, and harnesses these skills to efficiently manage
our finance department.

Toby Thurstans

Backed by a decade of experience delivering commercial projects and business development, Toby leads our People & Performance division. He focuses on culture, talent development, and supporting both business and teams to perform at their best.

David Tieppo

With us since the beginning, David has a proven track record delivering intricate building projects across a variety of sectors. His collaborative approach brings successful project outcomes, which he now uses to lead our Building Division.

Daniel Toole

Daniel has building and civil experience across a wide range of projects, garnered over the past decade. He now leverages that experience to lead our Civil Division, overseeing all civil projects that we deliver.

Alex Stone

Alex brings vast commercial experience to BluBuilt, specialising in fitout & refurbishment. He has a proven track record of exceeding expectations, and a diverse skillset, and leads our Fitout and Refurbishment division.

Craig Alksne

Craig has more than 25 years’ experience in the building industry, ensuring WHS conformity across projects with a strong focus on delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Ryan Sullivan

Ryan has more than 15 years’ civil experience, with the ability to lead, plan, execute, monitor and complete a wide variety of civil projects. He has a strong track record with BluBuilt clients, and leads our Civil Estimating team.

Martin Tobin

With more than 20 years’ experience working within the SA building industry for major contractors, Martin has a comprehensive understanding of commercial construction. Known for consistently delivering on time and budget, he leverages this to lead our Building Estimating Team and develop detailed methodologies and tender estimates.

Advisory Board

Former Port Adelaide Football Club President, Brett grew a highly respected SA engineering company over 27 years servicing a diverse range of industries across Australia. Brett has extensive experience in corporate governance and holds a number of board positions with numerous organisations having a proven record of positive long-term outcomes.

Mark is an experienced company director and executive leader with a career spanning the urban development and infrastructure sectors. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Case Meallin, Australia’s leading independent property and infrastructure project management and advisory business.

Previously, Mark was CEO of Ethos Urban, a leading integrated urban development consultancy, which he led through national growth and its successful acquisition by Colliers.

Mark brings deep experience in large-scale urban development, infrastructure and public–private partnership (PPP) projects, having worked across tier-one environments serving government and private sector clients.

 
Stephen brings a wealth of over 30 years accounting experience in advising businesses of all sizes on corporate finance, general business advisory and taxation matters. Stephen is a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Matthew’s career in sports marketing and sports business has culminated in his current role as the CEO of the Port Adelaide Football Club. He has a diverse range of skills and experiences including strategy, leadership, marketing, commercial sales and communications which he brings to the BluBuilt Advisory Board.

As a seasoned organisational development and human resources professional with 20+ years of experience, Georgia has successfully led initiatives that drive leadership development, cultural transformation, and service delivery improvements. As the National Senior Manager for Organisational Development at Calvary Health Care, she has demonstrated a proven ability to align organisational goals with employee attraction, engagement, and retention. Georgia is committed to fostering a culture of growth and excellence on the board.
