Demolition of transportable classrooms, and construction of new performing arts centre and general learning areas. The scope of works comprised:

• Demolition of multiple transportable classrooms
• Construction of the new Performing Arts Centre complete wth stage, tiered seating, light & sound room, drama room and amenities
• General learning area building with multiple learning areas
• Internal fit out
• Structural steel and roofing
• Mechanical and hydraulic services installation and commissioning
• Carpeting and flooring
• External pavement.

The building structures comprised structural steelwork with a variety of lightweight cladding finishes. The Performing Arts Centre included retractable stage, specialist lighting and curtain systems, and acoustic finishes throughout.

The project was undertaken within an operational school across multiple areas, which made project planning and delivery complex.
