Kingston Park Kiosk

At the Kingston Park Kiosk project, we brought to life a brand new kiosk, cafe, and restaurant. The architecturally designed kiosk will be a go-to destination for food and drinks for the local area. While creating this inviting space, we ensured minimal disruption to the natural environment, carefully removing vegetation and existing furniture before construction began.

The new kiosk building comfortably seats up to 40 guests indoors and 42 outdoors. It also caters for both dining in and take away orders. The scope of works comprised:

  • Demolition works
  • Structural steel framing
  • New partition walls
  • Carpentry
  • Internal fitout
  • Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services
  • Aluminium, joinery and office furniture
  • Landscaping and external pavements.

Due to it’s seaside location, the steel coatings for the kiosk were highly specified to be protected from the highly corrosive marine environment. The underground services levels were located in poorly graded sands and below sea water level. To mitigate these risks, we developed a detailed dewatering strategy with environmental factors taken into consideration to complete the works successfully.
