The Woodville Hotel Upgrade comprised renovation and refurbishment to enhance guest experiences and modernise amenities. The project included the complete replacement of the bar, beer garden, dining area, and amenities to create a fresh and inviting atmosphere while maintaining the pub’s character. The works included:
After we completed the demolition works, there were concerns regarding the strucutral integrity of the perimeter wall and as such, some redesign was required. We removed the perimeter wall and installed new steelwork to mitigate this risk. The structural steel system also required redesign to enable a higher finished ceiling level. One of the key milestone that we worked to was meeting key events, such as the AFL Grand Final and a number of prebooked private functions. We found efficiencies in the program through extended working hours and ongoing weekend work to accommodate these events.
